They are looking for someone with extensive Data Engineering experience who can lead a team of 5 Data Engineers and bridge the gap between technology and the business. There will be an opportunity to remain hands on whilst adding to the data strategy and roadmap. Exceptional senior stakeholder management and leadership is a key requirement for this role.
Key skills/experience required:
- A degree in a STEM subject
- 5+ years' working as a Data Engineer + minimum 1 year as a Manager
- Proven leadership experience with ability to manage and improve team members
- Excellent senior stakeholder management skills
- Ability to influence overall data strategy
- Technical proficiency with AWS stack

Job Title: Senior FP&A Analyst
Location: Hybrid London
Salary: £70k+ benefits
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior FP&A Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4-5 years of experience in FP&A, modelling skills, and experience in accounting, budgeting, and finance reports in Power BI or similar. You will be responsible for analyzing large data sets from multiple sources, building models from scratch, and producing high-quality and accurate analysis to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze accounting, budgeting, and finance reports in Power BI or similar
- Build and maintain financial models to support business planning and forecasting
- Analyze large data sets from multiple sources to identify trends and insights
- Produce high-quality and accurate analysis to both financial and non-financial stakeholders
- Work closely with the finance team to ensure timely and accurate reporting
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business
- Continuously improve processes and systems to drive efficiency and effectiveness
Requirements:
- Fully qualified CIMA/ACCA
- Minimum of 4-5 years of experience within an FP&A role
- Modelling experience - able to build models from scratch
- Strong data analysis skills and an ability to manage large data sets from multiple sources
- Excellent with Microsoft and Google Suite - Excel, Word, Sheets, Docs, PowerPoint
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - both written and verbal
- Able to demonstrate initiative and work to tight deadlines
- Results-driven with high attention to detail
Desirable Skills:
- Experience working in Private Equity and B2B environments
- NetSuite, Salesforce, and PowerBI experience

They want someone to write SQL queries to transform data into a form useful for further analysis or visualisation.
They are looking for someone to take charge of the client relationship, so they are informed about strategic decisions and their approach to analytics - advising on tools, how to make data available, outcomes, governance, people, skills.
You will also be an active member of the analytics community of practice - taking part in training and development activities and sharing your own skills and experience.

Senior Data Engineer (Snowflake)
London - x2 days in office a month as a rough expectation.
Xcede is delighted to be recruiting a Senior Data Engineer on behalf of a market leader in the retail and e-commerce space. Our continues to invest in innovation, delivering unparalleled shopping experiences to millions of customers in several formats. As they continue to expand their operations and enhance their digital capabilities, they're seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer who shares their ambition for well-structured, stable, scalable Data management systems.
The Senior Data Engineer should come with a proven track record in managing large-scale data infrastructures and pipelines that support sophisticated analytics. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining robust data solutions that drive strategic decision-making across multiple business units. This role is for someone who principally still loves to code, but who also feels comfortable engaging with stakeholders and mentoring others.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable data architectures using modern cloud platforms. Our client have a strong preference for Snowflake experience, but are open to those from a GCP / AWS / Azure background more generally.
- Develop high-performance ETL/ELT processes for batch and (ideally) real-time data integration.
- Ensure optimal extraction, transformation, loading (ETL) processes by implementing quality checks and balances.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data scientists, analysts, and stakeholders to understand their data needs.
- Support machine learning model deployments by ensuring seamless access to quality datasets.
- Troubleshoot complex issues arising from extensive big-data environments.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of systems architecture and workflows.
Qualifications:
- Ideally, a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; Master's preferred.
- Several years of demonstrated commercial experience as a Data Engineer or similar role within large-scale environments dealing with large data sets.
- Expertise in SQL & dbt.
- Significant Python coding skills
- Containerisation experience (Dockers, Kubernetes)
- Cloud Computing experience ( GCP / AWS / Azure )
- Strong preference for a Snowflake background
- Knowledgeable working infrastructure-as-code tools Terraform, Ansible etc.
- Clear commercial experience in an automation & TDD environment - testing is of the utmost importance to our client.
