I am currently recruiting for a AWS DevOps Engineer to work to a well established Hedge Fund located in the heart of London.

You will be joining the global Cloud Infrastructure team to design, build and support services and solutions to meet a wide variety of business requirements.

This position is a hybrid role, 3 days in Office and 2 days working remotely.

• The ideal candidate would come from a Financial Services Background or Large Technology organisation who is an SME within an AWS cloud environment.
• Experience using Kubernetes / terraform with good scripting skills - Linux
• Strong focus on AWS, DevOps, and Python programming.
• Extensive knowledge of CI/CD tools and practices.
• Infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like AWS CloudFormation or Terraform.

Open on package - circa £140k to £180k total comp however the official line from my client, is that they will pay what they need to land top talent.

We are currently seeking an Identity and Access Management (IDAM) Architect to support a leading UK Utility provider who needs an Architect with strong design and implementation experience in IDAM solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret strategic direction into tangible work packages to enable our internal product team (e.g. in End user compute) to deliver solutions (e.g. Azure Identity Protection)
• Work with technical stakeholders to deliver IDAM solutions in an order that both: meets business needs and makes technical sense
• Support tactical initiatives, such as Active Directory and Group Policy health checks, by identifying root causes and proposing (architectural) improvements.
• Lead solutions options assessments, in collaboration with the IDAM SME, to specify new solutions that meet business needs and are maintainable
• Support a journey towards identity-first zero trust and a single digital identity.

Data Engineering Manager

Xcede are excited to be partnered with a major publishing company in looking for a Data Engineering Manager. The succesful candidate will be required to lead a team of on-shore and off-shore Data Engineers whilst remaining hands on. The tech stack is Azure/Databricks, however they are cloud agnostic so will consider candidates from any cloud background.

Key skills/experience:

• Degree in a STEM subject or equivalent
• Prior experience as a Data Engineering Manager or Lead Data Engineer
• Excellent python coding skills
• Strong experience building ETL/ELT Data pipelines
• Experience working with cloud providers (Azure preferred but will consider AWS/GCP)
• Excellent strategical approach
• Excellent stakeholder management skills
• Excellent people management skills (prefereably with global teams)

A top-tier hedge fund is looking to bring on board a Senior Security Engineer (Windows) with an expert understanding of Identity & Authentication. You will act as the cybersecurity SME for IAM & Azure AD (AAD), advising on enhancements to the organizations security posture, performing hands-on technical work in implementing security controls, configuration tooling, designing security best practices, identifying security gaps, and enhancements.

This is a hybrid, on-premise & cloud hosted Windows led environment that is moving an increasing amount of functions to the cloud. We are looking for an individual that has been through the journey from On-Prem to Cloud and can help navigate the security issues surrounding this. You will provide technical leadership in cloud adoption from a security perspective, explore new technologies, architect new security processes and act as the liaison between stakeholders in the business.
Those applying should have:

A thorough understanding of Windows Security Engineering fundamentals.

• Deep knowledge of Identity & Authentication technology, procedures and controls An IAM expert coming from a Windows technology stack.
• A strong understanding of SSO technologies and authentication methods (OpenID Connect, SAML, oAuth, Kerberos, LDAP, etc.)
• Expertise in Azure AD (AAD), M365, Azure Configuration tooling.
• Experience in both OnPremise and Cloud Services, hybrid identity and Privilege Access Management (PAM)
