We are looking for a Senior Product Designer to be the first member of a Design System team, dedicated to building the enterprise wide design system. You will work in a hyper-growth Series D company with well over $500M in funding secured that are maturing their product design function in New York.

This is a company that is at the cutting edge of AI technology and provide a SaaS product that is enabling AI Search & Insights capabilities to the Fortune 1000 community. With a significant product suite already active, this role is to bring together prior adhoc design frameworks, pattern libraries & foundational elements into a scalable, coherant design system that is used across the business.

We are looking for someone that has worked in a B2B SaaS environment, producing modern high-fidelity product designs that emphasize user empathy in interactive design. You should have significant experience in building a complete design system from early phase that has been scaled across a SaaS product enterprise and can build for future state.

• Strong background in Product Design from a B2B SaaS product company
• Demonstratable experience in building a Design System from early phase to completion including comprehensive style guides, design tokens, and component libraries.
• Strong understanding of design system best practices, user-centered design principles, and methodologies
• Experience in building Design System best practice, documentation and influencing your fellow product designers.

You will be leading a team of 3 with the mandate to grow & hands on leading from the front.

Using the latest Machine Learning, NLP and Speech-To-Text technology as the backbone of their product suite, this company is rapidly growing their market share and fast being recognized as the leader in this market intelligence segment.

You will drive the overall design vision and strategy, foster innovation, and ensure consistency and excellence in design execution while pushing the limits of our Generative AI capabilities.

It is expected the successful candidate will have:

● Domain expert who is passionate about crafting best-in-class product experiences and robust tools for tasks like note creation/distribution, project management, email, task management, newsletter creation, and integrations.

● "Player/Coach" who has helped build and lead product design teams and mentor eager designers to continued success and professional growth.

● Expertise in visual hierarchy, layout, and information architecture.

● Thorough knowledge of using and/or building design systems to ensure consistency and efficiency in product development

● Evangelize a holistic approach to user experience design with a deep understanding of product vision and objectives.

Role will be based in NYC on a hybrid basis and will be expected to have close collaboration with local product, engineering, sales and research teams.

Hey! I'm currently working closely with a global advertising agency who are currently seeking a talented GDS Senior Content Designer for their client on a 12-month contract basis. This opportunity arises as they look to procure digital specialists to bolster the Cyber Security and Information Division.

As a GDS Senior Content Designer, you will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including other suppliers and civil servants, to enhance Digital, Data, and Technology (DDaT) capability. You will play a crucial role in enabling agile methodologies and ensuring adherence to GDS Design Principles and Service Standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely in multi-disciplinary teams to support the design and rollout of CDDO Secure by Design, tailoring approaches to align with the clients specific governance, structures, and resources.
• Collaborate with teams delivering new digital services, ensuring alignment with GDS Design Principles and Service Standards.
• Conduct user research and content audits to gain insights into user behaviour and preferences.
• Develop content strategies and style guides to ensure consistency across all digital touchpoints.
• Advocate for accessibility and inclusivity, ensuring that content meets relevant standards and guidelines.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Extensive experience as a content designer within a digital environment, with a focus on adhering to GDS Design Principles and Service Standards.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design methodologies and the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience working in Agile environments and the ability to enable agile ways of working.
• Familiarity with digital security principles and the ability to collaborate with security specialists.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to tailor communication to different stakeholders.
