SAP SD Consultant – Project Overview We are currently seeking experienced SAP SD Functional & Technical Consultants (m/f/d) for a major SAP S/4HANA Greenfield transformation programme based in Budapest.

Our client operates within the Energy and Automation sector and is delivering a global SAP S/4HANA template, followed by a multi-country rollout across Europe.
This role will focus on SAP SD Retrofit delivery, post-go-live enhancements, and Sales & Distribution (Order-to-Cash) optimisation, ensuring alignment with the global S/4HANA template.

Key Responsibilities – SAP SD / S4HANA Consultant Retrofit Delivery & SAP SD Enhancements

• Execute SAP S/4HANA Retrofit activities within the Sales & Distribution (SD) module
• Analyse implementation gaps and design process improvement solutions
• Configure and optimise SAP SD processes, including:
  
  • Order Management
  • Pricing
  • Delivery Processing
  • Billing
• Support testing, validation, and rollout of deferred SAP functionalities

SAP Integration & Compliance

• Ensure seamless integration between SAP SD and core modules (FI, MM, Logistics)
• Maintain connectivity between SAP S/4HANA and external/legacy systems
• Ensure compliance with local Hungarian regulatory requirements

Technical & Functional SAP Expertise

• Provide strong SAP SD functional consulting expertise
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to retrofit changes and enhancements
• Collaborate with SAP technical teams (ABAP, integration, architecture)
• Work closely with business stakeholders and programme teams

Documentation & Knowledge Transfer

• Maintain SAP functional documentation and configuration records
• Ensure effective knowledge transfer and documentation of implemented SAP solutions

Required Skills & Experience – SAP SD Consultant

• Minimum 5 years of SAP SD (Sales & Distribution) experience
• Proven experience in SAP S/4HANA implementation, rollout, or transformation projects
• Strong expertise in Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes
• Experience within international SAP transformation programmes
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work in complex, multi-stakeholder environments
• Fluent in Hungarian and English
