We are seeking an experienced Vulnerability & Threat Subject Matter Expert to lead and energise operational vulnerability management within a large enterprise environment.
This is a hands-on contract role where you will act as the technical authority for vulnerability and threat prioritisation, driving day-to-day operations while embedding a proactive, threat-led approach to risk reduction.
 
Responsibilities

• Lead daily operational activity across the vulnerability analyst team
• Ensure scans, reporting, and triage activities are executed effectively
• Provide expert guidance on vulnerability tooling (e.g. Tenable)
• Contextualise vulnerability data with current threat intelligence
• Drive threat-led prioritisation of remediation activities
• Work closely with IT resolver groups to accelerate patching
• Mentor and support analysts, improving quality and accountability
• Support programme and process improvement initiatives
• Embed a proactive, high-performance operational culture

 
Skills & Experience

• Extensive hands-on experience in vulnerability management
• Strong understanding of threat intelligence and exploitation trends
• Deep knowledge of enterprise vulnerability tooling (e.g. Tenable)
• Experience guiding IT teams on remediation and patching strategy
• Proven ability to mentor analysts and elevate team capability
• Strong communication skills across technical and operational teams
• Comfortable operating in fast-paced, evolving environments
