Our client, a major organisation operating at the heart of Germany’s national infrastructure landscape, is seeking an experienced SAP IDM Developer (Freelance) to support and further develop an existing Identity Management solution. This is a high-impact role within a stable, long-term programme, working alongside a highly skilled technical team on mission-critical systems.

This assignment offers the opportunity to contribute to complex SAP IDM architectures within a regulated, enterprise-scale environment, where quality, security, and scalability are paramount.

Key Responsibilities

• Further development and optimisation of an existing SAP Identity Management (SAP IDM) solution
• Design, enhancement, and maintenance of SAP IDM architectures and processes
• Contribution to or optimisation of test management frameworks for SAP IDM
• Mapping and integration of HCM processes within SAP IDM environments
• Close collaboration with internal stakeholders, architects, and technical teams
• Clear technical documentation and professional communication within a German-speaking environment

Required Skills & Experience

• 8 years of hands-on SAP IDM development experience
• Deep architectural understanding of SAP IDM and associated processes
• Strong expertise in HCM processes and their mapping within SAP IDM
• Experience implementing or optimising test management for SAP IDM (highly desirable)
• Native-level German or equivalent professional fluency
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to work independently in complex enterprise environments
