Netskope Security SME / Senior SOC Analyst (Contract)
Location: Glasgow preferred | London considered (with occasional onsite collaboration)
Contract Type: Contract (Outside IR35)

We’re supporting a major enterprise organisation in the professional services sector as they continue to mature their cloud security capability following a recent Netskope deployment.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Netskope Security SME to step into a high-impact engagement where you’ll help optimise an existing environment, support operational teams, and shape the next phase of a wider zero trust security programme.

The business has recently implemented Netskope Secure Web Gateway (SWG) and Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB), but the environment is still in the early stages of maturity.
They are looking for an experienced contractor who can quickly assess the current setup, stabilise day-to-day operations, identify immediate optimisation opportunities, and reduce operational overhead.
There is also a planned Netskope ZTNA rollout later this year, so prior experience in zero trust access or Netskope ZTNA would be highly valuable.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the day-to-day support, administration, and optimisation of the Netskope environment
• Administer, configure, and enhance Netskope SWG and CASB
• Review policies, controls, and operational workflows to identify immediate improvements and efficiency gains
• Troubleshoot complex incidents and act as a senior escalation point
• Improve platform performance, security posture, and operational effectiveness
• Work closely with internal IT and security teams to provide guidance, knowledge sharing, and best practice
• Support planning and readiness for the upcoming Netskope ZTNA implementation
• Provide strategic input into the broader cloud security roadmap where required

Required Experience

• Strong hands-on experience with Netskope security technologies
• Proven experience supporting and administering Netskope SWG and CASB
• Experience within SOC, cloud security engineering, or security operations environments
• Strong troubleshooting, policy tuning, and platform optimisation capabilities
• Exposure to ZTNA / Zero Trust Network Access technologies
• Experience working within large, complex enterprise environments
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

Desirable Experience

• Netskope ZTNA implementation or architecture exposure
• Security architecture or consulting experience
• Experience within professional services, legal, or other regulated environments
• Previous managed services or team augmentation engagement experience

The preference is for candidates based near Glasgow to support closer collaboration with the local team.
Candidates based in or around London, or within reasonable commuting distance for occasional onsite engagement, will also be considered.
