Our client is looking for a Device Architect with proven experience in embedded systems and ATC radio equipment. This role combines hardware & software architecture, embedded Linux/RTOS development, and systems engineering to deliver next-generation air traffic control (ATC) radio devices.

Location: Munich, Germany | Salary: €85,000–€98,000
Our client is looking for a Device Architect with proven experience in embedded systems and ATC radio equipment. This role combines hardware & software architecture, embedded Linux/RTOS development, and systems engineering to deliver next-generation air traffic control (ATC) radio devices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own end-to-end hardware and software architecture for ATC radio systems
- Define technical requirements for embedded software, hardware, and interfaces
- Coordinate internal and external development partners
- Develop technical concepts, specifications, and product features
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure smooth implementation
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or similar
- Hands-on experience with embedded systems, RTOS, and Embedded Linux
- Knowledge of software-defined radios or radio communication systems is a plus
- Strong experience in partner collaboration and technical coordination
- Structured, independent working style with excellent communication
- German (Business Fluent) | English (Basic)
- Lead the architecture of mission-critical ATC radio devices
- Work in a cutting-edge embedded engineering environment
