At Xcede, we have been committed to making a difference since the formation of our CSR Strategy in 2015. Being socially responsible is an an integral part of our business. We listen to our employees who actively drive initiatives to support our CSR goals. Each office works to give back to their local community by way of charity, donations or by our sales staff giving their time and recruitment expertise to local students and professionals. In addition to this, Xcede proudly partners with Ethy, an organisation committed to sustainability and ethics.

Our collaboration with Ethy is a testament to this belief as we join forces with this pioneering organisation dedicated to advancing sustainable and ethical initiatives. Through Ethy, we're making ethical choices a part of our daily operations. Our commitment also extends to our employees, who are our greatest asset. Our CSR Days allow our team to give back during work hours, nurturing a culture of giving and growth. Together with Ethy and our dedicated team, we're working towards a more sustainable and ethical future.

CHARITY OF THE YEAR 2026

We’re proud to partner with the Alzheimer's Society as our Charity of the Year for 2026, supporting their mission to create a future where dementia no longer devastates lives. With an annual target of £5,000, our team will take part in several evetns through the year to help raise funds and awareness for a cause that delivers transformational impact, working together with people from all the spheres of life that dementia touches. Every donation makes a difference. Thank you for your support!

CSR DAY

People are at the heart of what we do. With that in mind, in 2015, we introduced a CSR Day, enabling our team members to take time off during the workday to volunteer in their local communities. This initiative aligns with our CSR strategy rooted in bettering the communities we work in. Our global offices actively engage with local causes, from supporting the Camden Food Bank in London to Kinderhuis, a South African Children's Home in Cape Town. Since 2022, we have raised over £21,500 and 120 employees have made use of their CSR Days, showcasing our unwavering commitment to CSR and community support.

ANNUAL INITIATIVES

To demonstrate Xcede’s dedication to CSR and giving back to our communities, we have committed to several annual initiatives. Our employees nominate charities close to their hearts, and the company supports these choices through events like the Jurassic Coast Challenge, Macmillan, or Snowdon, helping to raise funds and awareness. In addition to this, our team donates time and recruitment expertise to local students and professionals.

Our charity of the year for 2025 was the National Autistic Society, and we raised over £6,700 for this incredible cause, which was 134% over our annual target! This year, we are supporting the Alzheimer's Society.

ETHY PARTNERSHIP

We are dedicated to advancing sustainable and ethical initiatives, which is demonstrated in our collaboration with ethy, a pioneering organisation that makes it easy for brands to communicate verified achievements against transparent Sustainable Development Goals (SDG)-centred standards. To date, we have earned 3 verified badges, namely Empowered Employees, Community Champion, and Gives to Charity. Together with ethy, we're making ethical choices a part of our daily operations.
