The Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Technical Consultant to support a leading professional services firm on a high-profile client engagement. This is an initial 6-month contract, with a start date in approximately 3–4 weeks. Due to client requirements, candidates must be based in the UK or Europe and have the right to work in their country of residence.

You will work across complex, enterprise-scale ServiceNow programmes, providing technical leadership while ensuring delivery aligns with governance standards and client objectives.
Key Responsibilities ServiceNow Delivery & Governance
  • Lead the technical delivery of ServiceNow projects, ensuring scope, timelines, and delivery objectives are met
  • Ensure alignment with internal delivery standards and client governance frameworks
  • Identify and manage delivery risks, including security, audit, and quality considerations
Technical Oversight
  • Provide hands-on and advisory support across ServiceNow configuration, customisation, and integrations
  • Guide delivery teams on scripting, automation, and ServiceNow best practices
  • Oversee implementations across modules including ITSM, SPM, HRSD, and IRM
Client & Stakeholder Engagement
  • Act as the primary interface between business stakeholders and technical teams
  • Facilitate requirements gathering sessions, design workshops, and solution walkthroughs
  • Maintain clear communication and manage client expectations throughout the engagement
Quality & Operational Readiness
  • Lead UAT and performance testing activities
  • Ensure defects are tracked and resolved effectively
  • Support documentation and knowledge transfer to enable operational handover
Additional Contributions
  • Support proposals, bids, or client presentations where required
  • Contribute to internal practice initiatives or thought leadership
  • Maintain current ServiceNow knowledge through certifications and enablement activities
Required Experience ServiceNow Expertise
  • 5 years’ hands-on experience with the ServiceNow platform
  • Strong knowledge of ITSM, SPM, HRSD, and IRM modules
  • Experience overseeing configuration, custom development, and integrations
  • Solid understanding of ITIL processes and ServiceNow best practices
Delivery & Consulting Skills
  • Proven experience delivering enterprise-scale ServiceNow projects
  • Comfortable working across Agile and Waterfall delivery models
  • Strong governance, risk, and delivery management capability
  • Confident facilitating workshops and engaging senior stakeholders
Professional Skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to lead technical teams and coordinate across multiple workstreams
  • Structured, analytical approach to problem-solving
Preferred / Desirable
  • ServiceNow certifications (CSA, ITSM, HRSD, ITOM)
  • ITIL, PRINCE2, or PMP certifications
  • Consulting background or experience within a large professional services organisation
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a matrixed environment
