Service Desk Engineer – 3-Month Contract (ASAP Start)

We’re looking for an experienced Service Desk Engineer to join our client on an ASAP-start, 3-month contract. You’ll provide high-quality technical support to end users, resolving incidents quickly and delivering an excellent customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide 1st & 2nd line support across hardware, software, and network issues
  • Log, prioritise, and resolve tickets via the service desk system
  • Troubleshoot Windows/macOS, Office 365, VPN, printers, and general desktop problems
  • Set up and configure laptops/PCs, user accounts, and applications
  • Escalate complex issues to senior engineers where needed
  • Deliver clear communication and support to non-technical users
  • Assist with onboarding, device builds, and asset management tasks
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a Service Desk / IT Support role
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows 10/11, O365, Active Directory/Azure AD
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and hit the ground running
  • Experience with common ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira, Freshservice)
