About the Role
In this role, you'll play a pivotal part in supporting, maintaining, and evolving an established in-house trading platform used across a diverse set of asset classes. You’ll collaborate closely with traders, risk teams, and business stakeholders to deliver robust, scalable, and well-tested solutions.

What You’ll Be Doing
• Providing day-to-day support for a standalone multi-asset trading platform,including operational troubleshooting and bug fixing.
• Delivering ongoing development and feature enhancements, includingreviewing and modernising core platform code.
• Ensuring systematic testing and high-quality release management.
• Building MIS reporting tools and supporting automation.
• Working directly with the business trading team to shape technical solutions.
• Supporting STP/automation integrations with third-party systems.
• Interpreting regulatory reporting requirements and implementing supportingfunctionality.
• Working with front-end development tools, cybersecurity considerations, andwider infrastructure.

Core Requirements

•10 years relevant industry experience.
•exposure to front/middle office trade systems
•Strong hands-on expertise in Java (server-side), MySQL, AWS (cloud services), Bash/Shell scripting exposure.
•Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
•A natural tech enthusiast with a hunger to learn and innovate.
•Preferred but not essential - UI experience in GWT, Java FX, Swing or similar

• FX (spot & swaps)
• Derivatives (IRS, TRS)
