Are you an experienced Credit Risk Analyst with a strong background in SQL and data visualisation? We’re working with a leading financial services organisation looking to strengthen their credit risk analytics team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys combining technical analysis with regulatory insight to drive smarter, compliant risk decisions.
What you’ll be doing
- Developing, analysing and maintaining credit risk models and portfolio reporting.
- Using SQL to extract and manipulate large datasets from multiple sources.
- Building dashboards and visualisations (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, or similar) to present insights to senior management.
- Supporting the business with risk appetite monitoring, capital adequacy, and credit exposure analysis.
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks such as IFRS9, PRA, Basel, or Solvency II.
- Collaborating with stakeholders across risk, finance, and data teams to enhance risk insight and governance.
- Proven experience in Credit Risk Analysis, ideally within a bank or insurance environment.
- Strong working knowledge of SQL (other coding languages such as Python or SAS a plus).
- Experience creating data visualisations to communicate complex findings clearly.
- Solid understanding of risk regulations and reporting requirements.
- Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
