Solution Architect – Billing Platform London (Hybrid) | Contract Inside IR35 | 3 month initial contract

The Role As the Solution Architect, you will lead the design and evolution of a next-generation billing platform. You’ll collaborate closely with senior stakeholders, project teams, and technical delivery functions to deliver a solution that is scalable, compliant, and user-friendly – empowering the business to configure and adapt billing logic with agility.

Your work will directly impact how millions of customers and businesses experience fair, transparent, and efficient financial services.
Key Responsibilities

• Define the solution vision and high-level design for a modern billing platform.
• Document the current ‘as-is’ architecture across Microsoft Dynamics 365, Workday, and other core systems.
• Design the target ‘to-be’ architecture aligned with enterprise standards.
• Partner with delivery teams to validate and oversee low-level designs.
• Assess and recommend technologies that support business rule management.
• Ensure architectural decisions meet security, compliance, and operational efficiency requirements.
• Act as a bridge between business stakeholders, delivery teams, and platform owners.

Tech Environment

• Core Systems: Microsoft Dynamics 365 CS (D365), Workday
• Integration & Messaging: Azure Service Bus (ASB), NServiceBus
• Business Rules Engine: Oracle Policy Automation (OPA)
• Desirable: Experience with low-code platforms, business rules engines, and event-driven architectures
