SailPoint consultant-Identity and Access Management (IAM)

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled SailPoint IdentityIQ Consultant to join our team and work on a high-impact engagement with one of our major enterprise clients. You will act as a trusted advisor, guiding the client through the design, implementation, and optimisation of their Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions. This role combines technical expertise with strong consulting skills to ensure successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with client stakeholders to assess current IAM capabilities, gather requirements, and define the target architecture for SailPoint IdentityIQ
• Configure and customise SailPoint IdentityIQ, including lifecycle management, access reviews, certification campaigns, and RBAC implementation
• Develop and integrate connectors, workflows, and rules using Java, BeanShell, XML, and related technologies
• Provide strategic advice on IAM governance, process optimisation, and security best practices
• Support integration with directories, cloud platforms, and other security tools
• Deliver technical documentation, training, and knowledge transfer to client teams
• Act as a subject matter expert during design workshops, stakeholder meetings, and technical reviews

Skills & Experience Required

• Proven experience delivering SailPoint IdentityIQ solutions in complex enterprise environments
• Strong understanding of IAM concepts, compliance requirements, and governance models
• Hands-on skills with Java, BeanShell, XML, and SQL
• Familiarity with directory services (LDAP, Active Directory) and authentication protocols (SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect)
• Excellent communication, presentation, and client-facing skills
• German fluency skills, English skills advantageous
