Product Architect (Banking Modernization) – Early Founding Role

  The Role
We’re partnering with a repeat founding team who are on a mission to modernize core-banking systems across the U.S. banking sector. This is a rare chance to join as Product Architect in a true founding capacity, working directly alongside the founders to define product strategy, engage with enterprise banking stakeholders, and take a 0→1 product to market.
You’ll own the translation of customer pain points into roadmap, run deep-dive workshops with CTOs and enterprise architects, and represent the product across RFPs, conferences, and early-access programs.
  Key Responsibilities
  • Shape and drive the product strategy & roadmap using insights from discovery.
  • Lead customer workshops with bank CTOs and IT architects to capture requirements and define success metrics.
  • Partner with the founding team on go-to-market positioning and early-access delivery.
  • Represent the product at industry events, conferences, and client presentations.
  Candidate Profile
We’re looking for someone who combines deep domain expertise in banking technology with the mindset of a builder. You’ll be comfortable navigating legacy banking systems while excited by the opportunity to build something transformative from the ground up.
  • 5+ years’ experience in banking technology (core-banking vendors, modernization tooling, or consulting).
  • A hands-on product thinker, passionate about designing solutions that untangle legacy constraints.
  • Strong ability to influence C-suite stakeholders and drive backlog with measurable outcomes.
  • Must have U.S. work authorization and be able to regularly access NYC.
Nice-to-haves:
  • Early-stage startup experience / shipping enterprise software 0→1.
  • Familiarity with U.S. banking regulatory frameworks (FFIEC, OCC, Fed, FDIC).
  Why This Role?
This is not a typical product role—it’s a chance to join a venture at inception, directly influence the product and company trajectory, and work with founders who’ve successfully built and exited companies before. If you want impact, visibility, and the opportunity to shape a generational fintech product, this is it.
