We are seeking an experienced Power BI & AI Solutions Specialist with a strong background in FinOps to drive business intelligence and cloud cost optimisation across our organisation. This role will play a key part in designing, developing, and delivering data-driven solutions that enable smarter financial and operational decision-making.
Working closely with stakeholders across Operations, Finance, Delivery and Leadership teams, you will translate business requirements into powerful insights through the use of advanced dashboards, automation, and AI-driven analytics.

We are seeking an experienced Power BI & AI Solutions Specialist with a strong background in FinOps to drive business intelligence and cloud cost optimisation across our organisation. This role will play a key part in designing, developing, and delivering data-driven solutions that enable smarter financial and operational decision-making.
Working closely with stakeholders across Operations, Finance, Delivery and Leadership teams, you will translate business requirements into powerful insights through the use of advanced dashboards, automation, and AI-driven analytics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather and document business requirements from stakeholders across multiple departments.
- Design, build, and deploy tailored Power BI dashboards and automated reports, covering areas such as cloud expenditure, budgeting, forecasting, and operational performance.
- Build and maintain robust data models, DAX measures, and transformations to support reliable and efficient reporting.
- Provide regular insights and recommendations to support data-driven decision-making across the organisation.
- Collaborate with data engineering teams to ensure seamless data integration and high-quality data pipelines.
- Apply AI and machine learning models to surface predictive insights, detect anomalies, and identify optimisation opportunities within financial and operational datasets.
- Minimum of 3 years’ in BI or FinOps (MI) roles.
- Advanced expertise in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query (M), and Modelling.
- Experience using AI/ML tools such as Python, Azure Machine Learning, or AutoML platforms.
- Strong ability to engage with stakeholders, gathering requirements and translating them into effective technical solutions.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present technical findings clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience with automation tools such as Power Automate or Logic Apps.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience integrating financial, cloud, and operational data from multiple systems.
- Familiarity with Azure Data Factory, SQL Server, or similar ETL platforms.
- FinOps Certified Practitioner certification
