Broadcast Production Support Engineer (Contract)

Are you a talented Broadcast Production Support Engineer looking to work at the heart of live sports and news production? Join a leading team and play a crucial role in maintaining seamless production work-flows in a high-energy, fast-paced environment.

Your Role:
As a Production Support Engineer, you'll be a key player in ensuring uninterrupted operations across live and post-production settings. You'll troubleshoot, document, and resolve technical issues, working closely with internal support teams and external service providers to maintain top-tier production standards.

Key responsibilities include:
- Monitoring and troubleshooting broadcast systems to quickly resolve software and hardware issues.
- Maintaining and repairing production equipment, ensuring systems are optimised for live and post-production use.
- Installing and configuring hardware and software, keeping environments production-ready at all times.

What We're Looking For:
- A degree in media technology, IT, or a related field, with 2-4 year's experience in media or broadcast production.
- Strong knowledge of digital video broadcast technologies and standards, such as SDI, SMPTE 2110, Dante, and PTP.
- Proficiency in Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Experience with broadcast studio automation and vision mixer systems is highly desirable.
- A proactive, hands-on problem-solver who thrives under the pressure of live production environments.
