Director Of Sales US - 1st on the ground
Xcede are partnered with an early-stage Stealth mode startup who are focused within Identity Governance and Administration and identity infrastructure solutions.
Our client is backed by a well-known VC within the cyber space and the founders have all taken vendors through to exits twice before.
Following their impressive seed funding of circa $40m! They are looking to launch into the US market and come out stealth mode before the new year!
As part of this we are looking for a Director Of Sales to join as a senior individual contributor and 1st on the ground within the US.
Location: Work from home setup but ideally based in NYC / Chicago / Houston / Dallas
Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will report directly in the Co-Founder and CEO and help to build out the US Go-To-Market function as a new business hunter.
- Own the full sales cycle from start to finish, win new business and develop revenue
- Design and execute innovative sales strategies to meet and exceed quotas
- Push cross-function collaboration
- Work with clients for upsell and cross sales opportunities
- Develop partnership landscape
Requirements:
The successful induvial must have sold solutions within either Identity access management, privilege access management or other identity security areas.
- At least 5+ years B2B SaaS experience within IAM, PAM, MFA or IGA security
- Startup experience is preferred
- Strong customer-facing and presentation skills with the ability to establish credibility with executives.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently and remotely.
- Superb written and verbal communication skills.
- Positive attitude, empathy, and high energy.
- BA/BS degree preferred; or equivalent relevant work experience.
Package: The OTE for this role is flexible depending on experience however ballpark would be $300,000 - $380,000 (50/50) plus equity and benefits
