Role Overview: As a Deployment Engineer, you will play a key role in maintaining the operational integrity of critical trading systems for a global leader in financial market intermediation. You will oversee the deployment of application packages, ensuring seamless operations in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment. You will manage multiple QA and production environments, drive release management workflows, and work closely with diverse technical teams to uphold the highest standards of system reliability, performance, and security.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and deploy applications across multiple environments, supporting both QA certification and production deployments.
• Oversee the Release Management process, including governance of application requests, sign-offs, and continuous process improvement.
• Design and implement complex multi-tiered technology solutions with a focus on high availability, data resilience, and security compliance.
• Collaborate with technology engineers and development teams to ensure the effective integration of new technologies within existing infrastructure.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in complex Linux environments, with strong scripting skills (Bash, Python, or Perl).
• Proficiency with GitLab or similar CI/CD pipeline environments.
• Experience working in mixed cloud, on-prem Kubernetes, and virtualized environments.
• Strong ability to manage projects involving cross-functional technical teams and deliver solutions under tight deadlines.
• Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, and ServiceNow is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
