Information Security Expert

Responsibilities

• Main contact and advisor for inquiries regarding information security
• Continuous monitoring of legal and regulatory changes, as well as technological advancements to determine specific actions for the bank
• Developing and enhancing guidelines, instructions, and concepts for information security
• Assessing compliance with information security standards through security assessments and reporting to management
• Identifying, analyzing, and evaluating risks and threats to information security
• Supervising the implementation of agreed-upon measures at the bank and service providers
• Coordinating information security incidents, including serious payment security incidents in accordance with PSD2, and reporting to the regulatory authority
• Managing projects related to information security independently, based on experience
• Coordinating and conducting sensitization and training programs on information security, based on prior knowledge

Your profile

• Keen interest in technological advancements and regulatory requirements in information security
• Extensive technical and practical knowledge of international and national standards and regulations in information security
• Fluent in German as well as proficiency in English
• Completed technical or economic studies successfully
• Banking knowledge and initial experience in leading small teams are advantageous.
