Senior Full Stack Engineer

Xcede are working with a rapidly growing London-based capital-market-data scale-up that is transforming institutional energy trading. This young company already service multiple Fortune 500 companies, replacing their legacy systems with revolutionary pre-trade data.

The team are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to hit the ground running and take ownership of an Individual Contributor role who will report directly to the Head of Engineering. You will plan and build greenfield projects, taking full ownership of delivery of these large-scale projects.

Being a more senior position, there will be an expectation to provide mentoring to more junior members of the team and drive a strong engineering culture.

You will have the opportunity to be in a fast-paced start-up environment where you can personally influence the course of the company and directly impact the global energy markets!

What we want...

* 5+ years of software development experience
* Robust, proactive communication skills, with a deep preference for teamwork
* Experience in independent project management of complex problem solving
* Tech-agnostic engineer, with competence in a major programming language -
experience in functional programming languages is preferred. Some of the
technologies we use include TypeScript,
Python, C++, EmberJS, Postgres SQL, AWS, Kubernetes and Docker.

This role is hybrid within London, twice per week.
