Platform Engineer

About the job:
Collaborate with colleagues to document and analyze customer requirements in the Kubernetes environment
Create and coordinate concepts
Conduct customer workshops and proof-of-concept installations as part of a team
Provide customer consulting support using Kubernetes and container technologies
Ensure close collaboration with other evoila teams, comprehending their concepts and solutions
Offer sales support by establishing and maintaining customer relationships
Ensure a long-term and collaborative partnership with our customers
You aspire to enhance your skills in designing, building, and maintaining a modern, flexible, and highly available multi-cloud Kubernetes platform.
Who you are:
Hold a university degree in computer science, e-technology, physics, or mathematics or related subjects
Alternatively, have completed training as an IT specialist (m/f/d) for system integration
Possess a confident demeanor, strong analytical and conceptual skills, the ability to work in a team, and a customer-oriented mindset
It would be optimal if ...:
You have experience in cloud native software development.
You have at least 5 years' experience in building and maintaining a Kubernetes platform.
You have technical experience with PaaS solutions (Cloud Foundry, Heroku, IBM Cloud etc..).
You have technical experience with at least one of the biggest hyperscaler (EKS, AKS, GKE...).
You are mastering all virtualization topics concerning an on-prem infrastructure and know how they can impact the Kubernetes environment (VMs, Storage solutions and their implementation, Networking at Layer4 and Layer7 with different providers, High-Availability etc..).
You have technical know-how and experience about Edge topics in relation to Kubernetes and Containers
