Senior / Principal Recruitment Consultant - Data Science & AI - Perm Desk

About Us

Xcede Recruitment (part of the Xcede Group, based in London, Spain, Germany, Singapore, South Africa, and the US) is currently looking to hire an ambitious new Senior or Principal level Recruitment Consultant to join the Permanent Data recruitment function, specialising in Data Science, AI, and Data Engineering.

The Perm Data Team is at the heart of Xcede's offering and contains some of the company's most consistent & successful performers. Our network within this niche area spans over two decades, and you would get full access to this from day one!

Alongside the more formal training provided by the company around both market knowledge (why are energy clients interested in Time Series Modelling professionals? What are the differences in LLM usage within a conversational AI context vs a document-based entity matching project?) and recruitment process (tailored by both your Manager and the Head of L&D), you'll also be able to soak up the experience of these incredible billers.

Due to a significant uptick in both new vacancies and placements made with our clients over a consistent period, the team are keen to find another great Recruiter to continue our position as a leader of the Machine Learning & AI Recruitment space.

About You

We would like to speak to someone with previous recruitment experience (top marks for someone who has worked in a Data or Tech-focused market vertical to date) to ensure that they can hit the ground running with our help.

Most importantly, we're looking for someone who has a clear idea of what the role will entail, and who is hungry to make the best of the opportunity on offer here with some guidance. Key traits that normally indicate a strong aptitude for the job include;

  • Clear written & verbal communication skills
  • A generally personable approach

What will your average day look like?

  • Utilising our database, LinkedIn, and several other sources to introduce yourself to relevant professionals who will be interested in the roles that we're working on.
  • Introducing yourself to our clients and onboarding new organisations who want to work with us.
  • Writing job adverts to help with talent attraction.
  • Posting through social media channels to drive engagement with the Data community online.
  • Preparing the professionals that we represent for interviews and helping to answer any questions that they have about our clients.
