Xcede is currently working with a marketing leading, European online technology group that owns and operates dominant brands in their fields across the UK, Germany, and Northern Europe. A brand new position has been created as they look to scale automation, improve efficiencies, and develop a more sophisticated PPC architecture across the group. They're looking for a Technical PPC Manager, with experience in scaling automation using a blend of custom scripts, API management, advanced data manipulation, Python, and ideally NLP.
The role will report directly to the Head of Performance Marketing, and work alongside a team of 7 in PPC and support the Online Marketing team of 35+ dedicated to the acquisition, analytics, experimentation, and innovation. A very unique role, ideal for an experienced PPC Manager looking to bridge the gap between marketing and analytics or for someone with the ambition of moving into a Data role in the near future.
*Develop the PPC architecture at a group level
*Help shape PPC process automation through a deep understanding of data, scripts, and ideally NLP
*Drive script-based automation: create, update and maintain script libraries
*Identify opportunities for further automation within the team and provide solution-based workflows
*Close collaboration with campaign managers to implement workflow changes
*Previous experience in a dedicated Paid Search position, ideally in a technical format
*Hands-on experience using tools including Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Bid Management tools, Web Analytics platforms, Scripts, and Tagging platforms
*Ability with data modeling, text manipulation, NLP with Python/ NumPy and SQL Query Optimization (mySQL, especially PostgreSQL or BigQuery)
*Ideally a proficiency in R and in API management
*Advanced Excel skills
