My client operates with around 5,000 employees across 440 locations. They cater to people's fundamental needs, including food, housing, living spaces, and energy. Their IT division provides essential IT solutions and support to the various companies.
My client is searching a German speaking Team lead for their Service Desk
Responsibilities:
- Prioritize addressing user needs and concerns.
- Ensure professional and friendly handling of all inquiries throughout the Service Desk process.
- Lead and oversee a flexible IT Service Desk team
- Take charge of recruitment, training, reporting, and budget management.
- Handle complex or urgent IT issues and expertly route them to higher support levels.
- Review and ensure the professional and effective handling of support requests.
- Contribute to training and coaching efforts as needed.
- Determine priorities, optimize resource utilization, and ensure timely processing of support requests.
- Identify opportunities for process enhancements.
- Encourage innovation and the adoption of best practices for an improved support process and enhanced user experience.
- Strengthen cooperation with colleagues in the Danish Service Desk.
- Coordinate Service Desk processes within the broader Group IT structure.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Completed education or a degree in IT or a relevant commercial field.
- Several years of experience in IT service/support management, with a preference for prior team leadership exposure.
- Enjoyment of customer interaction, complemented by exceptional communication and teamwork skills, and a confident and approachable demeanor.
- Strong understanding of processes and process design.
- Analytical and solution-oriented in your approach.
- Proficiency in both written and spoken German and English is essential, and knowledge of Danish is advantageous.
