Job Role: System Support Technician

Location: Derby

Salary: €16,000 - 21,000 pa plus overtime and premium hours

As a system Support Technician your remit will include:

  • Practical people who have some experience or interest ingengineering and technology.
  • Work as part of a team who are responsible for planning, procuring, maintaining, and reporting over a wide range of sites and sub-systems.
  • Someone who enjoys diagnosing and problem solving and is committed to customer service.
  • Willing to travel throughout the UK, working nights on a regular basis.
  • Have a full UK driving licence and valid passport.
  • Have no criminal convictions due to security clearances required by airport authorities.
  • Will be qualified to NVQ, C&G level or above in a relevant Electrical/Electronic or IT engineering discipline.

What you will bring to the company:

  • Experience in a similar role within the Industrial Automation environment
  • Minimum degree qualification in an engineering or process related subject
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision, whilst an effective team player as part of a structured team
  • Confident communicator with a professional manner, and the ability to absorb and impart factual information to others and work within standard operating procedures
  • A positive self-starter with drive to achieve results in a friendly manner, but at the same time maintain quality and standard
  • Full UK driving licence

This is a permanent position, based at Derby however you will be mostly travelling to custorms sites providing 24h emergency call out nationwide.
