Service Manager - Finance

Job Description

As the Service Manager for Finance you are acting as the key engagement point into Group IS on a day to day basis. You will understand all services provided into our Finance area and will assure continuous improvement as well as service performance reporting as to gain a good understanding of the effectiveness we are providing. You will be accountable to establish a roadmap based engagement process with the respective stakeholders, form a roadmap with a 12 month view into the future and set the priorities for Finance within GIS.


Ensure service obligations understood, agreed and met, hold regular service reviews with all key stakeholders

  • Identify and drive optimizations of GIS service delivery (Service Improvement Plans)
  • Have a 12 month rolling roadmap in place, fully prioritised and transparent communicated to all involved and interested.
  • Set priorities in GIS for Finance, have full transp. of all demand

Ideal Candidate

  • Good knowledge and understanding of Finance and their priorities and challenges
  • 2-3 years' of service management or similar role
  • Is an influencer/challenger and advocate of GIS services and services delivery capabilities into Finance. Can build and manage relationships, can manage and negotiate conflict
