Senior Manager Business Analytics (f/m/d)
Location: Hamburg
For one of our clients in the energy sector, we are seeking a Senior Manager Business Analytics (f/m/d).

Your responsibilities

*Lead a Team of Specialists
*Identify Business opportunities for the company
*Manage and participate in group-wide projects in cooperation with customers, the production department and supply chain management
*Apply advanced mathematical methods and expert systems
*Provide support for the development and implementation of our innovation strategy
*Manage and participate in projects that support investment decisions for projects concerning innovation, market positioning and future planning at all sites by estimating their technical and economic potential using mathematical models
*Implement new analytical methods and strategies for group-wide use in process development and process optimization
*Develop market analyses and business cases for new markets
*Analyze internal processes and develop of business cases for internal process improvements
*Communicate with internal and external stakeholders
*Conduct project management for ongoing initiatives and projects.

Your profile

*University master's degree or technical college degree in engineering, economics, mathematics/natural sciences, information technology or the equivalent
*Doctoral degree is a plus
*Minimum 3 years of professional experience in the area of Business Analytics, Transformation, Corporate Development or Project Management in an industrial company or a consultancy
*Experience in the areas of modeling, optimization, statistics or data analysis of technical (preferably metallurgical) processes
*Basic knowledge of modeling and programming languages such as GAMS, AIMMS, MATLAB, R, Python, C++ or Java
*Experience in the area of supply chain and inventory management
*Confident manner and assertiveness
*Analytical and conceptual way of thinking
*Strategic long-term and holistic view
*Excellent project management and Leadership skills
*Excellent ability to grasp concepts
*Excellent communication skills and Team spirit
*Creativity
*Excellent MS Office skills (particularly Excel)
*Excellent command of English and German.
