If you want a big, talented engineering department then they have just that: 500 engineering staff in Berlin. The key difference between teams is the stack they use: in the backend they have Go, Python and Java - so as an Engineering Manager you should bring experience as a backend engineer in one of these languages.
Engineering Managers would typically manage a team of 6-8 cross-functional front/backend engineers, designers and a PO. Senior Engineering Managers would manage 20 people (2-3 teams). On average, my client hire 10-15 software engineers every month, so the demand for engineering Managers specifically is very high.
There is a huge culture of personal development at the company so if you are looking to become a Senior Engineering Manager or even Director as a next step, they can create a plan for you to reach these levels.
If you want to find out more please do not hesitate to apply and let's talk! This role will be open until the end of November.
