About the role - Senior eCommerce Trade Manager

The Senior eCommerce Trade Manager plays a vital role within the eCommerce department and takes ownership of the delivery of over £***M in revenue across the UK and ROW owned websites & multiple market-place storefronts. They also oversee a team of 6, responsible for the broad range of trade levers, strategies and techniques activity is focused on meeting the customer needs whilst achieving bottom-line results.

Responsibilities - Senior eCommerce Trade Manager

* Complete understanding of company strategy including profit, trends and the effects Ecommerce has on the wider business
* Responsible for top-line sales targets across territories, ensuring monthly reporting is timely and accurate with the aim of maximising sales and profit potential across Digital channels
* Develop the overall plan for Digital sales (by channel and geography) agreeing targets with the Ecommerce Leadership team and delivering plans to Director level and across multiple functions including IT, Logistics, Finance & BMD
* Ensure plans are aligned to the overall omnichannel strategy and reflect B&M product strategies with appropriate goals and KPIs across the business
* Execute trade plans across owned websites and market places through short and long term tactics that drive revenue
* Establish a first-class Trading team that continuously propose, evaluate and oversee trade changes across digital channels optimising short and long term returns
* Lead Category Managers in the day to day management of the trading team, proactively identifying opportunities to improve and accelerate sales and profit performance
* Provide recommendations to optimise the product displays through effective range planning and building of online product strategies

Experience - Senior eCommerce Trade Manager

* Demonstrates strong communication skills, being able to communicate effectively with all levels of the business through compelling insights and effective presentation of results
* Demonstrable experience of effectively leading high performing teams
* Deep knowledge and understanding of digital trading within an eCommerce environment
* Commercial acumen with a strong problem-solving approach
* Strong administrative approach, ability to multi-task
* Flexible, resilient and open to change
