Data Engineer - UK - DevOps - ETL - CI/CD - Python - AWS

Salary - Up to £90,000 plus benefits
Location - London (WFH ½ the week)

This company are all about keeping up to date with the latest tech always keep an eye out on the evolving data engineering landscape. There is opportunity here to not only build but share your knowledge and ideas to support the data platform which is in its early stages!

It is the ideal role for a talented, career driven Data Engineer who is enthusiastic about sharpening their tech stack and is keen for a deeper venture into the world of Cloud Data and DevOps!

The successful Data Engineer should have a very good understanding of data pipeline processes and a solid background in databases / SQL. Also required is experience of sound program design, testing, and they should be comfortable with python, java experience would be great.

Required Skills (at least 3 of the following) - this can be in the form of academia work:

*Python, Java, C++, Go, Kotlin
*SQL
*Manipulating/Cleansing Data
*Stream Processing tech e.g. Spark
*AWS (EMR, Glue, Athena etc)
*Infrastructure-as-code e.g. Terraform
*DevOps
*Data Lake / Data Warehousing


The Role (all levels):

*Designing, building and deploying Data platforms

*Engagement with the product managers and designers, to create top end solutions

*Take on Infrastructure projects in a DevOps manner

As a senior:

*Engagement with the product managers and stakeholders and key decision makers in the business, discussing solutions, suggesting alternative routes, feasibility of technical tasks and sharing expertise

*Take a lead in complex business challenges and orchestrating solutions

*Working closely with a team of data engineers, offering guidance and advice
