Our client who is a leader in data consultancy services are urgently looking to hire a senior Data developer to join their team, you will need to have strong SQL, ETL,Google Cloud skills and experience of dealing with high level senior stakeholders.

Role:

Ideal candidate will have a wealth of experience creating SQL data models in a large, consumer-orientated organisation.
Business Analysis and requirement gathering: experience of gathering and documenting requirements to deliver model designs that meet business objectives.
experience writing complex, analytical SQL.
experience designing ELT pipelines. You know the implications, in terms of design, of full vs incremental extracts/loads, backfills,cloud, SQL.
Technical expertise with Git/version control and SDLC.
Able to demonstrate a technology agnostic approach for the subject area modelling and logical data modelling.
Creating the models will include optimised models for data marts supporting the organisation's objectives.
Ability to design and model a modern data platform and be able to think about how data is used and delivers value to the business
Strong communication, able to present ideas well to a variety of colleagues and clients, and author clear and succinct memos and documents. Translate design and requirements into a format that is understood by a non-technical audience
Proven record in creating low level data models aligned with the high-level architecture and principles.
A broad understanding of data environments, BI stacks, and ETL tools.
Experience with the modern data, analytics and business intelligence tools, e.g., BigQuery, Airflow, dbt, SQL, Python, Tableau, Looker.
experience working within and driving change
Experience handling multiple projects and priorities, managing timescales and delivery across a virtual, technical, cross-functional team
Robust knowledge of GDPR and likely implications on global data management
