Xcede is working with a VC backed EU Health/Ecommerce leader as they look to strengthen their Digital Marketing team. They are currently expanding into new EU markets and they have seen double-figure growth YoY in new all areas of the business. The marketing function is led by an Ex-Director from some of the world's most respected digital businesses and their new Head of CRM has an excellent career history working for some of London's leading brands.
This role will own all BAU and ad-hock email marketing activities for several EU markets and will be responsible for leading a small team of copywriters and translators. Working in an agile Digital Marketing team made of up experts, this role will work closely with Data Analytics, Content, Design, Ecommerce, and Acquisition. Retention campaigns are the focus of CRM roadmap currently, the role will offer the right candidate the opportunity to develop and own their newsletter campaigns along with autonomy and role progression as there is scope to grow the team moving into 2021.
*Ownership of email marketing campaigns - BAU, onboarding, repeat purchase, and retention
*Ownership of customer retention roadmap including the development of the newsletter
*Produce data-driven CRM campaigns through the use of insight, collaborating with the Analytics and Content teams
*On-going optimisation of all customer comms using various testing techniques
*Track and improve campaign performance - reporting and data analysis
*Ownership of the ESP - relationship management, platform improvement, increased personalisation functionality, and database segmentation
*Plan and test new customer comms channels - SMS, DM, Profile, Delivery
*Collaborate with Content teams and improve tone of voice and customer experience through comms
*Management of a small team of Copywriters and Translators
*Previous experience in an Email Marketing or CRM role in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment
*Experience in ESP management and development
*Proven track record in delivering multiple data-driven CRM campaigns with a high attention to detail
*Ability to analyse customer datasets and produce reports
*Excellent written and numerical ability
*Ability to work autonomously and execute the CRM roadmap
*Excel (and basic HTML) skills
