Supply Chain Project Manager (SAP, MDM, Traceability)
Length: 6 Months
Location: Macclesfield 4 days, Home 1 day.
My client in Macclesfield is looking for a Supply Chain Project Manager (SAP, MDM, Traceability) for an initial 6 month contract. This role supports the delivery of corporate level capability to enable the tracking of serialised products. It sits within Global Supply Chain and Strategy Team, who lead the design, planning, and development of the supply chain.
*Designing supply chain strategy and establishing supply chains for new products
*Ensure traceability systems, processes and standards are developed, implemented and tested to global standards.
*Collaborate with global stakeholders to support delivery against the global traceability strategy.
*Take responsibility for a workstream within the Business Deployment team.
*Creating and delivering solutions to support the global traceability strategy, gathering functional requirements, designing and testing the processes, and qualifying the systems.
*Develop a Project Management plan, which articulates key dependencies and milestones along with identifying, communicating and managing risks and issues associated with your workstream.
*Coaching and developing technical skills and delivering training across sites, as well as reviewing and developing training materials.
*Work cross-functionally across internal and external functions covering IT, engineering, distribution, Global External Sourcing and 3rd party suppliers to drive changes and understand key interdependencies.
Essential Skill Set:
*Strong background in global change management across production, warehousing and distribution processes.
*Strong experience of project managing IT deployments, preferably in the SAP and MDM arena
*Demonstrable experience of planning and managing project work streams/subprojects.
*Experience of computer and systems validation in a regulated environment.
*Working knowledge of corporate IT systems used for data management and warehousing.
*Experience of working globally.
*Experience of setting up, running and documenting process workshops
*Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Desirable Skill Set:
*Good understanding of serialisation legislations and associated business processes
*Working knowledge of GS1 standards or product master data.
*Experience of working with corporate IT solutions such as ATTP, Aii, ERP, MDM applications
*Experience and knowledge of distribution processes preferably associated to material track and trace.
*Experience of working with serialisation at the packing level.
*Knowledge of network segmentation and security.
