This global travel technology company has a phenomenal opportunity for an accomplished Principal Data Scientist to champion the use of Machine Learning for marketing optimisation, ultimately increasing customer value and adding to bottom-line profit.
Reporting directly into the Director of Marketing Data Science and joining an existing team of four talented Data Scientists, you would be coming in as the most technologically advanced member of the team with the opportunity to solve high-impact, complex problems using some of the latest technology and approaches.

The Principal Data Scientist Role

Coming in as a Principal Data Scientist, you will have a stellar opportunity to further hone your technical skills in a hands-on, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
*Designing, developing and deploying Machine Learning models to enhance customer acquisition and profitability
*Optimising bidding strategies, spend allocation and re-targeting strategies
*Predicting long-term consumer preferences to create tailored advertising campaigns
*Liaising with the wider Marketing, Product, Data and Tech teams to identify new potential areas for added business value through Data Science and Machine Learning

The Successful Principal Data Scientist

If you are currently working as a Data Scientist and have had dedicated commercial experience working with marketing data, this could be a fantastic next step for you in your career within a household-name traveltech company.

Desired Skills and Background of the Principal Data Scientist:
*PhD or MSc quantitative background
*Solid commercial experience building and optimising Machine Learning algorithms
*Expertise in Python / Scala, exposure to Spark MLlib, Keras, TensorFlow, PyTorch ideal
*Experience in real-time bidding, learn-to-rank, classification, recommender systems, clustering, regression

If successful, you will be offered a highly competitive salary paying between £70,000 and £100,000 depending on experience, alongside excellent company benefits (car allowance and considerable bonus!)
