Senior Data Engineer - UK - AWS - GCP - Spark - ETL - SQL

Salary - Up to £90,000
Location - London based

Xcede are proud to be partnering with a tech design consultancy who are looking for an excellent Senior / Principal Data Engineer who has experience in building big data solutions in Python or Spark which are based on the AWS and / or Google Cloud platform. Also, really good to have is SQL knowledge/experience!

We are looking for a motivated, passionate and experienced data engineer to join and guide a fast-paced, multi-talented data team tackling some of the most technical & methodical issues in a data-driven world!

The company is a London-based modern consultant; this requires the development and delivery of ongoing data pipelines and clear articulation of both the current and future state data engineering. Pay is based on tech ability and experience, ranging from £60,000 to £90,000.

There is plenty opportunity here for exciting challenges, to develop your cloud knowledge and engineering abilities and to support the complex data processes!


Nice to have (at least 3 of the following) - this can be in the form of academia work:

*Data design experience
*Cloud exposure (AWS, GCP, Azure)
*Understanding of ETL pipelines
*Solid SQL
*Data lake knowledge
*Big data solutions e.g. Spark
The Role:
