Xcede are looking for an established and highly driven Principal Recruitment Consultant/Team Leader to join our London Design Team. This role provides a fantastic opportunity to join a warm desk, hit the ground running with your own personal billings & be part of a collective who are admired across the Digital Sphere in London.

The Design team is one of Xcede's legacy markets - a small team of only 2 that bill big at over £500k. Working collaboratively with Xcede's other markets in Tech & Data, there is great scope to do more on Design, with access to Xcede's 300 live clients in 2022.

You have freedom to work across the UK & Europe - we are industry agnostic and have access to a global network. This is a great opportunity to have creative freedom over the clients you bring on and work that will shape the style of the team moving forward. At Principal level, you will work closely with Sales Manager Andrew Barnett to help shape and grow the Design team for future growth while also partnering with Cameron Wells, a highly revered and well networked Principal in the design space.

This opportunity is ideal for a Principal Consultant who has aspirations of scaling up their own success by working with other team members, and transitioning on to a Team Lead. You will work closely with Andrew on future hiring, direction, and become an integral part of one of Xcede's most admired teams in the market.

The Ideal candidate will use their passion for sales, recruitment and professionalism. They will be specialising within Design UX/UI and attracting & securing new business, developing our existing client portfolio, and placing candidates.

In addition, being our go-to Team Lead for day-to-day mentorship and management.

Your Responsibilities:
* Developing key accounts, whilst winning new and important business
* Being proactive in selling a variety of recruitment solutions - demonstrating successes by retaining business, enhancing recruitment processes, and delivering complex proposals
* Pitching candidates to clients with confidence over the phone, and securing interviews for candidates based on recommendations
* Managing the offer process, dealing with counteroffers, and negotiating packages on behalf of candidates and clients
* Assist in integrating new members into the team, observing work practices, and setting a good example by adhering to recruitment/system practices
* Being the go-to-mentor and manager for new members
