As a pricing Analyst, you will be working for a growing e-commerce company who are looking to understand and increase customer retention, whilst boosting overall customer value. This company has extremely large datasets, with an extensive customer base therefore you must be comfortable working with big data.
As a Pricing Analyst, you will be working to optimise trading measurements by reporting on key growth drivers, delivering findings back to stakeholders. Part of your role will also involve providing insight regarding the effectiveness of marketing investment, as well as looking to lead thinking on pricing and promotional strategies.
More specifically, you can expect to be involved in the following:
Analysing price structures, loss ratios,
Regularly discussing your insights with stakeholders at all levels
Challenging the team's analysis to get the best understanding and value from the individual channels
Working with your colleagues to monitor and analyse how retention activity effects the current customer base
Looking at customer retention strategies for both long and short-term
Educated to a degree level in a STEM subject
Strong analytical experience in a commercial environment, having worked with large datasets
Proficiency in SQL
Strong Pricing experience.
Hands on experience with R or Python.
Experience working with operational teams, with significant ability to communicate insight to a non-technical background, including stakeholders at all levels
Proven experience working towards commercial objectives
