The NLP Engineer Role

As an NLP Engineer at this AI startup, you will have the opportunity to develop your technical skills alongside a phenomenal team of NLP scientists and engineers.

Key responsibilities for the NLP Engineer:
Researching and implementing novel conversation AI methods
Designing, building and testing NLP models and pipelines
Making evidence-based recommendations, improving system performance
Conveying key concepts and collaborating on key technical problems with the wider team

The Successful NLP Engineer

If you are currently working as an NLP Engineer, Machine Learning Engineer or Data Scientist, this could be a fantastic next step for you in your career in a company set to completely revolutionise an industry.

Desired Skills and Background of the Lead Data Scientist:
PhD/MSc in either Computer Science, Human Computer Interaction, Applied Linguistics, Machine Learning or NLP
Ideally experience working with IBM Watson Assistant or an equivalent technology
Commercial experience using Python
Experience deploying models to the cloud, ideally with Docker and/or Kubernetes
(Preferred) experience in financial services

If successful, you will be offered a highly competitive salary paying between £50,000 and £80,000 depending on experience, alongside excellent company benefits.
