Our client is looking for a Marketing Data Manager to join their data team, data is the heart of the business.
The role will be to:
Own and execute the Data Governance program of activities including cleansing lead and contact data and customer data completion, leveraging third party databases and agencies
Manage marketing data compliance across all our products and websites
Collaborate with the Marketing team, giving them visibility of their marketable audience and coverage
Build automated programs to routinely update and validate Marketing data
Manage relationships with data vendors including five data stewards based in India
Work with Campaign Managers and the Marketing Data Manager to identify segmentation criteria based on audience behaviour, demographic and firmographic characteristics
Support Campaign Managers with building their audience segmentation and importing data when required to CRM and Eloqua within agreed SLA
Run Eloqua insights reports to provide performance insight on marketing campaigns, identifying areas for improvement
Design and own the Data Deletion and Retention Policy, ensuring data is archived, deleted and retained where necessary
Select and optimise the use of data quality tools
Design a preference centre that is fit for purpose
Regularly validate and build our existing universe through technology and agencies
Produce and socialise reports that illustrate the marketing data universe to assess our coverage across the addressable market
Monitor our data quality scorecards and recommend suggestions for improvement
Carry out weekly data audits, ensuring the flow of data between systems is fit for purpose
Maintain our campaign tracking by regular auditing of responses, tracking codes, quality of leads
Keep Head of Marketing Operations continuously informed with progress, improvements, and new recommendations.
Skills & Requirements
- Experience in a B2B role within a Marketing team
- Marketing Database Management (Salesforce Enterprise Lightning and Marketing Automation (Eloqua)
- Excellent MS Excel skills (VLOOKUP, INDEXMATCH, Pivot Tables)
- Salesforce and Eloqua Reporting knowledge
- Proficient with Tableau
- Well-organised and experienced with Project Management technologies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Positive outlook with a can-do attitude
- Understanding of Data Visualisation best practices
- Confident and passionate Data SME
Proven track record in:
- Marketing Reporting in a B2B organisation
- Marketing automation platform experience
- Working to strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Leading data governance and data quality programs
