Lead Principal Environment Model Systems and Mapping

Our client is currently looking for an experienced Lead Principal Environment Model Systems and Mapping Engineer to join the Autonomy Research Team.

We are seeking innovative, smart and motivated engineers with a strong background in Advanced signal processing, algorithms and probability and to excellent implementation skills in C++ to lead a highly talented "out of the box" team.

*** To qualify you must have ***

* PhD or Master´s in Engineering, computer science or related field including 6 years in Systems Engineering or related
* 10+ years' work experience in Robotics, Autonomy or related areas
* 6+ years' experience in Localization, Mapping, Road & Environment Model and Sensor Fusion
* Prior experience in lead roles related to systems engineering
* Significant expertise in system design, algorithm development & C++ implementation
* Road and environment model design and development based on sensors, HD map and/or a combination
* Localization and mapping expertise & familiarity with GPS/GNSS, Dead reckoning, HD Maps, and other sensors
* Sensor fusion across multiple sensor modalities (GNSS, Inertial Sensors, Camera, LIDAR, Radar)
* Computer vision background in feature detection and tracking, multi-view geometry, SLAM, and VO/VIO
* Deep learning algorithm design and prototype with automotive use case
