Lead / Principal Data Engineer - Payment Tech

Xcede's Data Engineering recruitment team are currently working with one of the world's fastest-growing merchant services payment providers in their drive to scale up their Data Engineering function. The business uses a 'data first' approach to all internal decision making, and they provide their 80,000+ customers with enough insight and analysis to use a similar style with their own services.

One of the key drivers for this Data led offering is a phenomenal Data leadership group (stretching right up to C-level within the organisation) made up of people who have worked (and had a major impact) at the likes of Farfetch, Deliveroo, and eBay.

A key milestone in the upcoming growth plans is the hire of a Lead Data Engineer - we're looking for someone who enjoys being predominantly technical in their day to day work, but who also already possesses management experience which they can utilise in time (this will become more important as the team scales over the next few months). As a Tech Track 100 organisation and one of Sunday Times 100 Best Companies to Work For 2020, this is one that you definitely don't want to miss out on!
