As an Insight/Research Manager

You will be responsible for managing the entire end to end process of insight generation & research projects, tapping into tracking studies, customer data and consumer trends to help identify valuable insights that can power our business. This involves acting as an internal consultant, crafting the business question, briefing teams, project managing and critically, presenting the insights in a compelling triangulated manner, working with key senior stakeholders from across the business.

This particular role would suit an experienced Client side Insight or Research Manager/ or Agency side Strategist or Planner who is driven by curiosity and understanding customer perceptions, behaviours and motivations and is passionate about joining the dots from different data sources to produce a complete picture and compelling "So What". You will be a constantly curious individual, motivated by getting underneath data and customer insight & feedback to uncover true intentions and real needs which can improve customer experience and engagement. You will be confident and adept at communicating with all levels of seniority and take pride in producing compelling and impactful Insight.

What you'll be doing as a Insight Manager, Research:

  • Delivering high quality Insight work that meets strategic objectives and supports business plans
  • Writing articulate research briefs for complex business questions and managing a range of projects from start to finish, leveraging qualitative, quantitative, customer, shopper and Delivering concise and compelling insight to help the business drive better decisions for our customers
  • Working with senior leaders across the business to support deeper more direct customer closeness and a richer understanding or our target segments and their needs
  • Supporting the development of new initiatives and helping to continue to build out our insight products, services and tools to meet the needs of the business from shop floor to boardroom
  • Being involved in how we can optimise customer experience programs and trackers
    Proactively develops and sustains effective relationships throughout the organisation helping our department become a centre of excellence across the business

What you'll have:

  • Extensive experience in a customer insight role, either client or agency-side, gathering and leveraging a range of insight and data sources to drive action
  • Ambiguity
  • Strong technical insight generation & or research background with qualitative & quantitative experience
  • Demonstrable thought leadership through collation, interpretation and analysis of multiple sources of data.
  • Building, managing and influencing diverse cross functional stakeholder relationships
    across all levels of a business.
  • Powerful storytelling, specifically communication and visualisation that brings insight to life for a senior business audience.
  • Outstanding commercial acumen and experience applying insight in a fast paced commercial environment.

Adept at bringing the customer voice and needs to life, alongside Analytics and Data Science teams.
