Head of IT & Business Consulting - Supply Chain & Procurement
Location: Braunschweig
One of the largest clothing retailers in Europe is forming a new IT Business Consulting team and are looking for a Head of IT Business Consulting with a focus on Supply Chain & Procurement topics. They have over 1,000 stores across Europe, grossed +€4 billion last year and are looking to continue their success with you leading the way.
In this position, you will manage a team of 13 consisting of business consultants, application consultants, project managers. You will define departmental strategy and focus on topics that interface with IT and Business processes with a focus on Supply Chain, Procurement and Logistics. In the longer term you will scale the team to ∼ 25 people.
The role…
- Technical and disciplinary management of IT Business Consulting department
- Managing and implementing cross departmental projects and developing best practices
- Strategic planning of business process optimisation, IT projects, departmental support
Your experience…
- Experience in leading teams/departments from managerial perspective
- Understanding in any of the following topics: Supply Chain, Procurement, Logistics
- Experience in ERP systems (e.g. MS Dynamics, SAP ERP, Oracle ERP, etc.)
- Fluent German and English
