Xcede is excited to be partnered with a leading organisation within the Electronics industry who are looking for a Head of Data Platforms to spearhead their enterprise data platform and be the face of the EDP across the business. This is a 12 month FTC with a possibility of permanent employment afterwards depending on performance.
You will be responsible for building the platform and it's features, managing a team of Data Engineers and contributing to the overall strategy/operating model.
Key skills/experience required:
- Solid industry experience in building Data Engineering platforms
- Understanding of how to manage an enterprise level data platform
- Extensive experience using Snowflake for cloud services (AWS)
- Hands on engineering leader (still at least 50/60% hands on)
- Experience managing a team of 5+ Data Engineers
- Ability to contribute to target operating model
- Python expertise
- Data Management expert
- Excellent people skills with senior level stakeholders
- Ability to present o business stakeholders
