Our client who is a leading payments fintech based in the heart of London are looking for a maths or engineering grad to join their analytics and data engineering team.
You will:
Investigate, manipulate and clean huge data sets and make them meaningful for our analysts, business intelligence functions and campaign activity.
Engage with the data content, including proactive investigation of the rich transactional data we hold at customer, merchant and market-vertical level.
Validate model predictions and identify data gaps.
Find new and interesting ways to augment our data with 3rd party sources to enhance its value.
Collaborate with other teams to inform best practices You are:
Highly attentive to detail, with an ability to spot data anomalies and root out underlying causes
Inspired to take innovative approaches to address complex challenges
An effective communicator with a team-oriented spirit
You have experience in:
Required
Strong understanding of writing SQL queries and scripts
Desirable
Relevant degree
Knowledge of Python or other data related languages
Knowledge of SQL Stored Procedures and Functions
Knowledge of standard data structures, data mining and manipulation
Comfortable handling large data sets.
