Experienced/Senior Recruitment Consultant

Xcede are looking for an established and highly driven Recruitment Consultant to join our London Contract Team. You will have experience working in Data or Tech, and have built up market knowledge in the UK Contract Market. This role provides a fantastic opportunity to join a team of 9 overall however Tech & Data have only 4 people, so there is huge desk opportunities to scale this up very fast (we've had new joiners get up to 5 runners in their first 2 months in the business with everyone doing deals within their first 3 weeks).

Xcede's UK Contract team are one of our legacy markets, with over 10 years' experience. Working collaboratively with Xcede's other markets in Tech & Data, there is great scope to do more on Design, with access to Xcede's 300 live clients in 2022. Historically, the team has been Xcede Group's highest billing contract desk, and we are looking to breathe fresh ideas to grow outwards while winning over exciting new clients.

You have freedom to work across the UK & Europe and have access to a global network. This is a great opportunity to have creative freedom over the clients you bring on and work that will shape the style of the team moving forward. In Tech for example, you have the opportunity to own Frontend/Backend. You will work closely with Associate Director Helen Graham, and Sales Manager Dan Norris to help shape and grow the team as we expand into new markets.

This opportunity is ideal for an experienced Recruiter who has aspirations of scaling up their own success by working with other team members and taking ownership of their desk.

The Ideal candidate will use their passion for sales, recruitment and professionalism. They will be specialising within Tech, Data or Design and attracting & securing new business, developing our existing client portfolio, and placing candidates.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Developing key accounts, whilst winning new and important business
  • Being proactive in selling a variety of recruitment solutions - demonstrating successes by retaining business, enhancing recruitment processes, and delivering complex proposals
  • Pitching candidates to clients with confidence over the phone, and securing interviews for candidates based on recommendations
  • Managing the offer process, dealing with counteroffers, and negotiating packages on behalf of candidates and clients
  • Assist in integrating new members into the team, observing work practices, and setting a good example by adhering to recruitment/system practices
  • Being the go-to-mentor and manager for new members
