Job Role: Engineer/Technician Control Technology



Location: Dortmund



Salary: €50,000 - €60,000 pa depending on experience plus a fantastic benefits package


As an Engineer/Technician Control Technology your remit will include:

  • In your role , you will be responsible for the software engineering of control systems of fully automated warehouse management systems
  • The specification, design, coding and testing of the control software are part of your tasks
  • You build and maintain relationships with customers (internal and external)
  • You coordinate the requirements and create the specifications
  • By means of second- and third-level support , you support your colleagues in support
  • In internal and external meetings , you represent the company

Skills and experience required

  • You have successfully completed a degree in electrical engineering/automation technology as a Bachelor, Master, Technician (or comparable)
  • You have in-depth knowledge of at least one of the following hardware platforms: Beckhoff TwinCAT or Siemens S7
  • You have experience in object-oriented programming
  • In addition, you are able to read and interpret electrical circuit diagrams
  • You have already gained practical experience in electrical/control technology and electrical installation
  • Excellent knowledge of word processing and spreadsheets
  • Knowledge of Industrial Ethernet and modern fieldbuses (EtherCAT, PROFINET, PROFIBUS, AS-i), AC drives and design experience of HMI systems would be an advantage
  • You communicate fluently on German, your English language skills are at level B2
