Data Warehouse Engineer (m/f/d)

Salary: 55.000 - 65.000 Euro

Our client is a dynamic and young company, that has been growing strongly over the past few years and delivers high level data solutions in the online products industry. As the data teams are at the core of the success, the company is looking to expand their BI team with a DWH Engineer, who supports making data accessible to the rest of the company. Not only would you be working on big data ETL processes in an SQL server-based environment, but you'd also be the bridge to the data science team, working within the Hadoop ecosystem.


*Develop and optimize ETL jobs, processing big data from various sources
*Maintain and develop the Hadoop-based DWH together with the Data Mining team (using HiveQL and Impala)
*Use SSIS to scale and maintain the Microsoft SQL server-based BI solutions
*Provide self-service access to data for all other departments, using Power BI, Analysis Service and Reports

*You have a completed a university degree in computer science or an equivalent qualification or completed your training as an IT specialist
*You're an expert when it comes to relational databases
*You have very good knowledge of SQL (T-SQL or HiveQL) and have a passion for unstructured and structured large data
*Experience with SSIS, SSAS and SSRS and multidimensional databases
*Ideally first experience with Big Data technologies
*A drive to learn new tech and the confidence to share these with your colleges
